In this book of the Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, they’re
was a character name Montag, he was a dynamic character. The word dynamic
character means when a character changes through out the story to the end. In
the beginning Montag is someone who is happy and pound of what they do, but
then finds out he is not happy with his life. And ends up being sad.
In the beginning of this book Montag is happy
for putting out fire on the books, but when he meets Clarisse and she asks him
why does he like his job and why is he smiling while putting out the fire on
the books. And is he happy with his life. That’s when he realizes that he is unhappy
with his life and work. For example, he saw the old lady who died with her
books and proud to died happy with her books. That made Montag think a little
and didn’t want to go to work the next day. The theme in this part is that he doesn’t
care about anything but when someone telling you something that really affects
you or gets to you realize where and what you are doing. And you try to fix
your problems. The tone is that he is mad but then he is confused.
Next,
betty suspects that Montag stole a book from the old lady. And betty does not
want any books or people reading so he is the antagonist at this point. For
example, Montag stole the book and is reading, and betty found out and is
looking for him with a robot dog to burn out the books. In this part the theme
is that someone is trying to read but knows that is wrong but still figures the
way to keep doing what they want. The tone is that the author had done
something bad but has never been caught.
The climax is that they discover that Montag
had books and he is reading. And they are looking for him. Then Montag leaves
the city with is copy books and finds out that there was more people outside
the city. Allusion all of that, he gets out of the county on time and they blow
up the city and he find more friends who read also. And he ends up staying with
them. The theme in this part is when someone is trying to find a way out to do something
that they want and that they would never ever give up. The tone is that the
author is trying to say never give up on something because there is always a
way out.
